LEWISTON, Maine (March 19, 2026) – The Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic board has announced the official rosters for the East and West teams that will compete in the 2026 Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic on July 18, 2026 at Lewiston High School. This year the organization has set a goal to donate $175,000 to Shriners Children’s and become the top football game fundraiser in the country. The rosters include the top senior high school athletes from across the state.
The full list of Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic rosters and coaches are available at MaineShrineLobsterBowl.com. The website also allows anyone to make a general donation or allocate their donation to a player and their fundraising goal. Each participant is required to raise at least $500 to participate in the game. Proceeds from the game benefit Shriners Children’s in Boston and Springfield.
The West team, coached by Joel Stoneton from Winthrop High School, includes 45 players and 24 cheerleaders. It includes Connor Ayoob, winner of the 2026 Fitzpatrick Award, as the top senior football player in the state.
The East team, coached by Dan O’Connell from John Bapst High School, includes 44 players and 26 cheerleaders from across the state. The roster includes Joe Hayden from Mt. Blue High School, the Frank J. Gaziano Memorial Offensive Lineman Award winner for his accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.

The Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic is an all-star football game for high school seniors. Each year, the game raises thousands of dollars for Shriners Children’s. Players, cheerleaders and coaches raise funds by reaching out to family, friends and businesses to support the game and raise money for a great cause.
